Commissioning Engineer, Future Pipe Industries
* As project leader, handle the new machines/production lines commissioning projects for Future Pipe Industries operating plants.
* Plan, organize, execute and manage site commissioning activities so as to ensure the execution of work in compliance with the quality, budget and schedule requirements.
* Process Improvement: Upgrade of the Production Process in order to increase the production lines productivity & capacity/output.
Achievements:
- Commissioning of 7 Production Lines in FPI-Abu Dhabi & KSA (Three types of lines: GRE, Yellow Box & Red Box High Pressure).
- Upgrade of 2 Production Lines in FPI-USA results in doubling the line output.
2007 - 2008Central support in Automation Control & Troubleshooting for the FPI group plants, Future Pipe Industries, Dubai, U.A.E.
- Handle Equipment Maintenance Inquiries for CNC breakdowns, electrical, automation and control issues, and Perform the necessary troubleshooting.
- Study the automation troubleshooting inquiries, analyze & decide the Online/On-site intervention necessity.
- Schedule & prioritize the intervention tasks as per the breakdowns criticality. Interventions performed in: UAE, Netherlands, Egypt, Qatar, KSA, Lebanon, Oman, Italy, France & USA.
- Design/Improve the automation controls for machines and/or machine parts.
- As Central Maintenance Department, establish maintenance plan with detailed tasks for end-users to ensure proper handling & machine reliability.
- Maintain Backup of FPI group machines softwares and programs.
- Collect & study the best practices for standardization & implementation across the group,
- Prepare Operating & Troubleshooting manuals for existing machines & new projects.
- Create project plan, schedule and budget for new CNC programs, control set-up & upgrade.
- Prepare the BOM estimate for each Automation project to provide as preliminary budget.
- Prepare CNC & PLC programs for pipe winding, calibrating & threading machines softwares.
Achievements:
* Process Improvement (July 2007):
Improvement of the pipe winding machine Automation Control which results in the optimization of the Raw materials consumption (saving up to 5%).
* Implementation of Remote Assistance Module for Control & Troubleshooting of Pipe Helical Winding Production Lines controlled by NUM CNC (Computerized Numerical Control).
