Alejandro Paez Moreno

My name is Alejandro Paez, and Spanish engineer specialized in electronic / automatic systems from the Spanish University of CADIZ.
Since 1999 I have been evolved in the most important project in Spain related to Combined Cycles. The first one was developed at the South of Spain I was the Civil Manager responsible to carry out all the civil activities of a 2000 MW Power Station, responsible of about 250 employees the project took 4 years and the result was over the 15% of the total budget.
After this period I was responsible of my own company, during four years, the actual financial crisis force me to close it, but during those years I had the opportunity to manage a company with around 150 employees
Today I am the Site Manager of the first Integrated Solar Combined Cycle in Egypt. With Iberdrola, one of the most important companies on this sector, Power Station, I am responsible of the following activities.
• Act as Company’s representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the execution of the project.
• Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.

• Follow up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
• Oversee establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.

• Provide leadership and direction to all project operations, including scheduling of in-house and /or subcontracted work.
• Responsible for overall projects management

• Monitor all work progress on a day-to-day basis to ensure conformance with schedule, contract documents and project budgets.
• Manage multiple resources and maintain current knowledge of project and respond to administrative and technical inquiries.

• Schedule, attend, and participate in all projects construction meetings
• Prepare and write construction projects plans (CPPs) and proposals
• Participate in Subcontractors selection and contract awards

• Review and monitor submittals and shop drawings
• Monitor general condition costs and maintain cost and budget controls
• Ensure all deliverables are of the highest quality

• Assure compliance with contractual requirements
• Ensure complete compliance with SOW
• Ensure all elements of plans and specifications meet cost and schedule requirements
• Maintain change orders management log
• Develop methods for tracking materials and resources
• Order, implement, act and complete all the procurement of the project as per Company policy.
• Sign all required contracts for subcontractors and project staff as per Company policy.
