Achievements:
• Developed Criteria 6A&B and 5E for the 2007 DHEA submission which scored double than the previous year and represented the 40% of the tolal score increase in 2007, allowing SD to be awarded as the Best Improver across all DH entities.
• M&S, in 2007, was the CoE (centre of excellence = department), across all SD department and Projects, with the bigger number of BMS's (Business Management System) improvements.
• Evaluated as a superior performer in 2007 and in the first semester of 2008 (score 4/5).
• Developed and cooperated for the launch of a Customer Complaint mangement system utilizing internal resources and existing systems which allowed to minimize the budget to 15,000 $ Dollars.
2005 - 2007PWC Logistics is the Mother of a group of company composed mainly by GeoLogistics, TransOceanic and Translink with more than 150 offices in 100 countries.
1. My Key role was: Supply Chain Project Manager for the SANOFI AVENTIS Logistics’ Project - second biggest Pharmaceutical Company worldwide. I was responsible for the whole set up of the project:
• P&L (profit and loss)

• Warehouse layout and racking design
• Logistics Processes design
• IT (Warehouse Management System - WMS) set up, testing and implementation
• Warehouse team management
• Customer service team management
2. KEY Member of the Managing Project Team dedicated to our key clients: KBR (Kellogg Brown Root Services; Halliburton Group) in charge of the U.S. Army Logistics for the middle east: my roles were to
• Design the Logistics Processes
• Design the warehouse layout
• WMS implementation and monitoring
• Part of the warehouse team management receiving and discrepancies (12 staff)
• Manage and improve OS&D (overage / shortages /discrepancies) process
3. Other duties:
• Co-managed with the Supply Chain Director the whole Logistics ESTEE’ LAUDER (cosmetics) project design and implementation – similar tasks mentioned for Sanofi Aventis.
• Responsible of processes performances for Beiresdorf Logistics Processes: inventory accuracy, offloading and stocking lead times, picking lead-time and accuracy.
• Definition and implementation of the Standard Operative Procedure for PWC’s Logistics Processes (SOP).
• Define and implement processes’ measurements tools (KPI)
• Responsible to analyze and improve QA/QC, Discrepancies and Material receiving processes.
• Prepare internal P&L and business plan for various Logistics Projects.
• Prepare offers to incoming RFQ (request for quotation) and RFS/RFP (request for service / proposal)
ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Successfully planned and implemented the logistic project for Sanofi Aventis (first biggest pharmaceutical company worldwide) obtaining a special congratulation and a visit from the Head Quarter Logistics' Director for running the projects with only 1 discrepancies with the value of less than 50 Euro across a stock value of more than 120 Million Euro during the first 6 months of operations.
• Improved the discrepancy process for KBR (Halliburton) projects allowing a calculated saving of 700,000 $ on the first quarter of operations.
• Awarded as one of the best employee in 2006.
2002 - 2005Exel (DHL Group) is the second biggest Logistics Company in the world with over 115,000 employees working in 2,000 locations in over 135 countries.
1. I started my career in Exel as team member of the Siemens Project Team that was handling the logistics Project for Siemens Mobile Division.
2. Due to my good performances I my role was raised to Team leader for the “Mobile Division” which was handling similar logistics services for a mix of different customers as Nec and Nokia.
3. In line with my effort, good and quick results and the growth of business of our start up client “3” (H3G – first worldwide 3G network solution), I was appointed as project responsible in order to design the comprehensive logistics Project.
4. This new role included:
• Design of the comprehensive Logistics Project for a 24/48/72 Hours in line with requirements and rapid expansion of customer’s markets and operations.
• Fixing existing processes and stock inventory discrepancies in order to allow a smooth transaction to new the model.
• Supervising from the initial assessment to the final implementation of SAP/R3.
• Design new warehouse and client service processes.
• Design / optimize Warehouse layout.
• Establish Local distribution points across the Italian territory to ensure quality and timely delivery for the 24/48 delivery service.
• Define ABC curve and develop stock forecast for Hub and de-centralized Deposits
• Manage from the central HUB the de-centralized deposits (5 Nos) operations.
Achievements:
• Successfully designed and implemented, in cooperation with customer’s IT department, a dedicate SAP module within 4 months.
• Improved the stock accuracy level to 99.998%.
• Improved corporate invoicing process from 5 man-days down to 4-6 man-hours.
2001 - 2002Palletways is an English transport-logistics company specialized in express pallets transport that operates within the English-Italian territory.
Main duties:
• Realized the branch Marketing Plan, Basic Tariffs, the vehicles itinerary and the Lay-Out of the depot.
• Definition of Office Procedures & Warehouse Processes.
• Acquisition of local and national customers.
• Planning logistics and transportation programs.
• Supervising daily warehouse and transport operations.
• Significant contributions to realize the company tariffs and brochures.
Achievements:
• The branch which I was supervising was awarded as the 1st Depot across the network (at the time consisting in 35 affiliates).
