Paul Atlan
BPR Expert at Municipality of Abu Dhabi
With a background in Management Consulting, I joined the municipality of Abu Dhabi City in June 2010 to lead our Business Process Reengineering effort.
I'm currently overseeing the rewriting of over 250 end to end business processes in all areas of the municipality.
After 7 years working in the automobile industry, I became a management consultant in 2000.
I worked successively for CSC Peat Marwick, ALCOM Consulting and ARGON Consulting Middle East, moving from senior Consultant to Director, when I was in charge of the Change Management Practice.
My areas of expertise are Operational Performance, Project Management, and Change Management.
I have had engagements in a wide range of fields, among them electronics manufacturing, the automobile industry, textile manufacturing, retail, airline and airport operations and aircraft maintenance.
My outside interests are as eclectic as my carreer, ranging from Information Design to Cooking.
I am binational / bilingual (French and American)
I lead a Business Process Reengineering effort to rewrite more than 250 end to end processes for the Municipality.
This is the foundation of the efforts for the municipality to support the Abu Dhabi 2030 vision.
2009 - 2010As a Director at Argon Consulting Middle East, I am in charge of the Change Management Practice, which currently involves 4 major projects in Saudi Arabia.
Argon Consulting Middle East is a Consulting firm with a core expertise in Supply Chain Management. It's expansion in the Middle East is driven by the fast pace of industrial development, mainly in Saudi Arabia, and its engagement profiles have expanded to cover various organization and management missions.
As a senior manager at Argon, I have led the project for creating the Purchasing, Contracting and Logistics department of the largest petrochemical plant in the world, opening in 2008 in Saudi Arabia ($18 billion joint venture between saudi arabian and japanese firms).
I'm now participating in various projects involving mass location / relocation of personnel in large industrial operations.
