Sales Manager MEA - Telecom at Sagem Orga Dubai
I am a Sales Manager in a Smart Card manufacturer called Sagem Orga. The latter is a subsidiary of Sagem Securite, which is part of the Safran Group.
My main job is to sell SIM cards to Network Operators in different regions. It is a challenging task since the SIM is a highly complex product and the selling cycle very long. I'm also specialized in tender responses and the selling of Applications & Solutions and OTA platforms. Furthermore, as i'm working in a very innovative industry, i'm tackling different technologies everyday such as the NFC,M2M, Mobile TV etc.
I have been working for almost 3 years now in Sagem. Indeed, i started my career there as a Sales Assistant for my Master's internship. Then, after 8 month, i got hired as a Junior Sales for the South Europe Region in the Telecom Department. I was in charge at the time of several major accounts such as Bouygues Telecom, France Telecom, Wind Italy, H3G Italy, Vodafone Turkey and Avea Turkey. However, 1 year and a half after, i had an opportunity to move to Dubai in order to handle the Middle East Region and some accounts in Eastern Africa. Sagem was pleased with my work and it was a good deal for me as i am from a multicultural background and i always wanted to work in the Middle East.
Thus, i have been now working for 9 month in Dubai, handling several major Network Operators in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Madagascar...
